"Bugs Must Die" is a pixel-art, top-down shooter combining aliens mantis being and bosses that mimic East-West pop culture. It is mainly inspired by "Jackal", a classic NES game. In "Bugs Must Die", you can fight against those alien scum by controlling a heavy-armored vehicle equipped with multiple weapons to gallop on the battlefield. You can also use Mantis Agents who have completely different weapon systems shooting and dodging through a Bullet-hell. Besides sixteen stages in the "Story Mode", we designed eight stages with one random boss per stage in the "Challenge Mode" and a total of thirty dungeons in the "Hell Mode". All of them will enhance the replayable value of "Bugs Must Die".
Since last Saturday afternoon, I have been not able to connect to Google, mainstream social media like Twitter, YouTube, Twitch, Facebook and many other foreign websites from China with VPN.
I’m really frustrated because the release day (March 29th) of our indie game Bugs Must Die is approaching but now I am not able to share our game with overseas gamers. I may not be able to upload new trailers or update any information before the launch day. It will be a disaster for our studio.
Allow me to ask you do me a favor: please help us spread the word about Bugs Must Die, sharing your gameplay videos to others, telling gamers to add our game to their wishlists or letting them know what happened on a small Chinese indie game studio.
I have confidence that Bugs Must Die is worth your time to play because Steam curators recommended it, gamers shared their gameplay videos about the demo on Youtuber or streamed playing the demo on Twitch, and bloggers wrote preview articles about it.
Right now, we can only count on YOU, our awesome gamers.
We really appreciate your support!
